Today, Detroit Diesel's legendary 2-cycle engines form part of Rolls-Royce Power Systems under the name of MTU Detroit Diesel.

Detroit Diesel 4-cycle engine 

Detroit Diesel's 4-cycle engine - 60 Series engine - currently belongs to the US company Detroit Diesel Corporation. This engine was originally developed for on-highway applications and was sold over a million times as truck and bus engine.
